The Independence S.33 Overview
The Independence S.33 represents the application of Spectrum technologies for ‘entry-level’ and ‘light’ jet operators. It is often referred to as a “game changer” and “revolutionary”, for good reason. By fundamentally changing the economics of aircraft operations it will enable owners and operators to achieve new levels of utility in a light jet.
Flight evaluation of the Independence confirmed that it has docile handling characteristics and stunning takeoff and climb performance.
The Independence cruises to 45,000 feet and will have FAR Part 23 certification for all-weather use. It will be single pilot certified and feature a cockpit with side-stick controls, exceptional visibility and flat screen Multi-functional Display avionics. The balance of these characteristics truly puts Spectrum’s Independence in a class by itself.
