Spectrum Produces First Freedom S.40 Fuselage

San Diego, CA, June 11, 2009 – As part of the ongoing development program of the S.40 Freedom mid-size jet, Spectrum Aeronautical announced today that the first of a series of Fuselage Manufacturing Demonstrator (FMD) test articles has been completed. Starfish Aviation Purchases Fleet of Spectrum S.40 and S.33 Business Jets

Carlsbad, California . 8/11/08 - Austin Blue, President of Spectrum Aeronautical, LLC, announced today that the company has finalized the sale of a fleet of aircraft comprised of its Freedom S.40 and Independence S.33 business jets to Starfish Aviation, LLC, of Northbrook, Illinois. Although both companies have policies that prohibit public disclosure of details and order backlogs, Blue commented that the value of the contract is in the nine-digit range.
Blue noted that Starfish selected Spectrum’s equipment following in-depth evaluations to find the right aircraft to fit their operations. “Starfish has a program that is well suited to today’s dynamic and demanding transportation marketplace. Spectrum Aeronautical Receives Fleet Order from Jetpool

Carlsbad, California - 2/25/08 - Austin Blue, President of Spectrum Aeronautical, LLC, announced today the company has received a significant fleet order for the Independence model S-33 and Freedom model S-40 business jets. The order was placed by Jetpool, LLC, of Charlotte, North Carolina. Spectrum Aeronautical is headquartered in Carlsbad, California, with its development center located in Spanish Fork, Utah. Spectrum Aeronautical Enhances Performance of its Independence S-33 and Accelerates its Mid-size Freedom S-40 Certification Schedule

Carlsbad, CA, August 10, 2007 - Linden Blue, Chairman of Spectrum Aeronautical, LLC, today announced significant performance improvements to the S-33 “Independence” and that the company will also accelerate the FAA Type Certification program for its new mid-sized light jet, the model S-40 “Freedom”.
Spectrum is enhancing the capabilities of the S-33 Independence through continued design refinement and the application of newly available technologies. The company recently decided to use the Williams International FJ33-4A-19 engine instead of the previously planned FJ33-4A-15.This will give the jet a substantial step up in both thrust and efficiency. Blue said, “The Independence already had the highest thrust to weight ratio of any business jet, and now it’s even better. Also, the -19 incorporates Williams. Latest technology, so with the additional thrust it has even better fuel specifics. We’re enthusiastic about continuing to work with Williams on this exceptional airplane.”
Spectrum Aeronautical to Open Operations in Carlsbad, California

(San Diego, California – May 18, 2007) - Spectrum Aeronautical LLC, manufacturer of the new Spectrum Independence light jet and the Spectrum Freedom mid-size jet, announced that it has established its corporate and sales headquarters at the McClellan-Palomar Airport (KCRQ) in Carlsbad, California. Spectrum has moved into 8,000 square feet of office and hanger space which will include room for future expansion.
Austin Blue, Spectrum’s President noted that, “The new location at Palomar is ideal for us.
